These terms apply when you browse PrivateServerIndex, create an account, submit a server, vote, or buy an optional promotion. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
01 What Private Server Index is
PrivateServerIndex is an independent directory for private game servers. It is not the official service for any listed game, is not owned by the game publishers, and does not operate or guarantee the servers listed here.
02 Accounts
Keep your account details accurate and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account. Do not create accounts to evade a restriction, impersonate somebody else, or interfere with the site.
You can manage the account information available in account settings. We may restrict or close accounts that are used for abuse, fraud, spam, vote manipulation, or repeated breaches of these terms.
03 Server listings
You may submit a server only if you own it or have permission to represent it. Listing information, screenshots, logos, banners, links, rates, status claims, and player counts should be accurate and reasonably current.
Do not submit malware, phishing pages, stolen artwork, misleading claims, illegal material, or links that you do not control. You give Private Server Index permission to display the material you submit as part of the directory and to resize, format, or remove it when needed for the site.
We can edit, pause, demote, or remove a listing where information is misleading, unsafe, abandoned, abusive, or otherwise unsuitable for the directory. A listing being present is not an endorsement or a promise that its server is safe, online, fair, or financially sound.
04 Votes and rankings
Votes are intended to reflect genuine player interest. Automated votes, bots, scripts, vote exchanges, purchased votes, coordinated manipulation, and attempts to bypass the voting limit are not allowed. The current limit is one vote per server every 12 hours per IP address and account, where applicable.
We may reject, remove, or investigate votes and adjust rankings when there is evidence of abuse. A high number of votes on its own is not proof of abuse. Premium features and advertising do not buy organic ranking.
06 Optional paid features
Gold server membership and sponsored advertising are optional, one-off PayPal purchases for a specific server. They do not renew automatically. The price, package, duration, and feature are shown before you continue to PayPal.
Gold can provide owner reporting and monitoring. Basic vote callbacks are available to every listing at no charge. Sponsored advertising is labelled and kept separate from the organic vote ranking. Neither paid product guarantees votes, players, uptime, sales, or a particular ranking.
If a payment appears duplicated, a captured purchase was not delivered, or we remove a paid feature because of our own mistake, contact Private Server Index so we can review the issue. Refund requests are handled under applicable law and the circumstances of the purchase. Our Refunds and Paid Promotion Access policy explains how confirmed full refunds, reversals, and partial refunds affect the remaining promotion. Nothing in these terms removes a consumer right that cannot legally be waived.
07 External services and links
Listings may link to private servers, Discord, launchers, payment pages, or other third-party services. PayPal handles payment approval and payment details. Private Server Index does not control those services and is not responsible for their content, security, availability, rules, or transactions.
If you configure a vote callback, PrivateServerIndex may send the callback data described in the vote callback documentation to the HTTPS endpoint you provide after a confirmed vote. You are responsible for that endpoint and for telling your players how your own service handles the data it receives.
08 Availability and responsibility
This is a small independent project. The directory, rankings, monitoring, player counts, and integrations may change, be interrupted, contain mistakes, or be taken offline. Status checks and player counts are signals, not guarantees.
Use your own judgement before downloading software, joining a server, sharing information, or paying anybody. To the extent allowed by law, Private Server Index is not responsible for losses caused by a listed server, a third-party service, inaccurate listing information, or an interruption of the site.
09 Changes
We may update these terms as the site changes. The date at the top shows which version is currently published. If a change materially affects paid features or account use, we will try to make that clear on the site.
10 Contact and governing law
Private Server Index is operated independently rather than by a large company. For account, payment, moderation, or privacy questions, email [email protected] . These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the United Kingdom. If something goes wrong, please contact us first so we can try to sort it out sensibly.
Nothing in these terms is intended to remove rights that apply to you under the law where you live.
